The bike was purchased in April this year and apart from a couple of pushes up a local hill, has only been used for 6 days riding in the Alps. The original tyres are still on and even the back isn't half worn yet! The brake pads have been upgraded to Ashima SOS and the brakes have just been bled. The bike is in mint, nearly new condition, no dents at all and just a few tiny paint chips underneath.
The forks were on a previous bike, and have been used for 1 other week's holiday in the Alps. In between that trip and the recent one, they were fully serviced by TF tuned. I replaced the stock Boxxers on the bike with these as they are so much more plush and require far less servicing. The stanchions are in near perfect condition with just 1 tiny scuff at the top of the left one, that can just about be seen in the last photo.
This bike isn't the lightest compared to some new carbon offerings but nothing can touch it for pure plushness over rough trails. Although a size small, I am 5'9" and wouldn't want to be riding the next size up (wheelbase is 1178-1188mm depending on chainstay setting).
My reason for selling is I won't use the bike during the winter, could do with the cash and as I now work for a bike shop I can buy a new one if I get a trip to the Alps again next year.
PM or text me on 07896 965747 if you have any questions at all about the bike. It can be viewed in person at the KEswick Bikes (KMB) shop in Cumbria.
Fantastically plush bike, great for chunky & technical tracks.
