Dirt 100 2010: HUTCHINSON MUD DH

Our pick of the downhill mud tyres. While we also love the Maxxis Wetscream, but they require trimming down in all but the gloopiest of conditions. Where the Hutchinson scores top marks is on rolling resistance, it is common thought that opting for spike tyres gains you grip and loses you rolling speed – well not so much with the Mud DH. It maintains a great rolling speed, cuts through the mud with ease and grips like hell! Without doubt, the British winter downhill tyre.
