Charge’s Spoon is a serious contender for the title of ‘bargain product’ on this list. It’s clearly been modelled on some of the most popular designs about and the result is that it’s also one of the comfiest. For this kind of money you’d possibly expect the finish to be a bit shoddy, but it’s far from it, and the ones that we’ve been using have proved their ability to take the knocks. You simply can’t fault it for the money, and to be honest we’d struggle to fault it even if it sold for twice the price.

It’s maddening when you see Charge selling this simple and inexpesive saddle for £25, when other brands sell the same saddle (seeing as most saddles are all manufactured by the same parent company Velo), for double or even near triple the price.
Goes to show how gullible some of us are when it comes to marketing or brand conciousness….
I have the same saddle (different branding) and it’s brilliant. Not too light or so slim that your gooch is rubbed raw when you put the saddle up, while at the same time not too bulky when you want to move about while getting it sideways.

as i normally run the i-beam post, i was struggling to find a reasonably priced seat when i changed to the rockshox reverb. Must say im well surprised with the Spoon, super comfortable, well made and under £25. bargain!
