nothing to do with this vid (wich is sweet) but was just in my local bike shop in norwich!! and in the corner of the workshop came across a old school giant dh bike from 94 and apparently the owner says its rob warners race bikes from back in the day it had a cracked head tube which has been welded was wondering if anyone could confirm if this is true?
Gawton is my closest DH uplift so it is really interesting to see these two guys riding/ripping the track. Dirt, please get Steve Peat to do 1:04-mkII asap! Perhaps with Nico Vouilloz too for extra intensity?! Plus, Tweet in advance so I can come and watch. I can offer my Mum’s Devonshire Cream-Teas as an incentive!
ok – rant. Dirt is the best mag out there, i subscribe. its a quality publication with brilliant writingand photography, nothing rivals it. the website compliments the mag beautifully except one small thing. WHY THE HELL DOES IT NEED ALL THIS BLOODY non related ADVERTISING ALL OVER THE PLACE. ITS DOING MY HEAD IN. I WANT TO WATCH THE DIRT VIDS SUCH AS THE ONE ABOVE WITHOUT A SODDING ADVERT EVERY BLOODY TIME SLOWING EVERYTHING DOWN. I DONT CARE ABOUT PRINGLES, PHONES and “the collector” film ANd ALL THAT I WANT TO SEE is THE 1.04 CLEARLY AND UNBROKEN. SOMETIMES ITS FINE, MOST OF THE TIME ITS NOT. please can you get rid of all the non biking ads for stuff i really dont give a shit about whilst looking at stuff to do with bikes. its so disappointing. im sure im not alone in thinking this. (perhaps i am or my comp is broken.) oh well i cant watch the vid such a shame. it used to be fine. before.
update ; the pringles ad is the culprit. the gate way to canada ad for £849 seems not to affect it all.
Well, you see, it’s all about blocking traffic from advertising network sources mmmmmmmmppppfffffff What I suggest it adjusting your hosts file so that mmmmmmffffpfpppppffff all traffic from such sources is simply routed to localhost, or 127.0.0.1, if you will, mmmmpppfhhhhhffffppppgfffff. buy the way rob warners old giant dh bike that is sitting in my local bike shop in norwich is owned buy a guy called mike burrows apparently he built a time trial bike for lotus and it won the olympics. he used to work for giant thats how he got it, met him in the shop and he said it was ridden by tomac before warner that should keep geeeeek and craig busy for a while will let you know when he sells it to me for 100 squid and i sell it on ebay for 700 peace out !!!!
