This is the first installment in our new ‘Day With…’ series. We’ll be spending time with the fastest racers in the world throughout 2010, bringing you video bangers like this one.
All we’ve got to say about this video is: drifty loam, road gap, scrub, moto, Woburn Sands. And yep, Woburn really is that much fun. Millki Gibbins brings us Euro Junior Champ Bernard Kerr.
Jacob’s also pretty handy at stills, check out the shot below! Click the image to go to his website.

I was stood next to his mum at Rheola a couple of years ago at the National Champs (the one where Peaty broke his ankle in practice). Lovely lady. She then scared me with her knowledge of Anglo Saxon when Bernard came rumbling past with a puncture! Her marshalls flag got thrown to the ground and kicked about too – I think she was a bit angry! She obviously likes her boy to do well.

Watching this again! Way better than any of the other the CRAP thats come out to buy so far this year! Come on Dirt put a DVD out, all the best footage is from your people, as always! Not arse kissing! How about a free one? Maybe with a subscription???

You’ve got to see it to believe it Mike. Loads of DH shuttle runs, step ups, pump tracks, huge DJs and some of the best riders in the country up there most weekends.

That video was so packed full of awesomeness, I almost pooped myself.
February 23rd, 2010 at 10:20 pm
This vid is proper. Local trails having their ring pieces torn out of them. Makes me proud to be part of the UK scene.

February 24th, 2010 at 12:20 pm
Tis indeed the Woburn near Milton Keynes, well worth a trip it’s amazing.
February 24th, 2010 at 12:48 pm
Looks like it’s worth a trip indeed.. Only a 6 1/2 hour drive from where I live in the Netherlands.
But, how do the locals feel about foreigners just coming to their tracks to ride..?
We’re not to lazy to pick up a shovel..
We used to go ride BMX in Hastings a lot in the nineties. Good times!
February 24th, 2010 at 6:15 pm
Definitely the best vid of rogate i’ve seen in a while… that was awesome
February 24th, 2010 at 6:16 pm
ok so one more thing, first Brendan now Bernard… what is it about kids growing up at rogate and making it to WC’s… sick… keep holding it down for the shandy drinking southern crew, oh yes
February 24th, 2010 at 7:38 pm

its GREAT to see Bernard killing it, and glad he got hooked up with some support – Bernard rode his nuts off at the first Esher Shore Jam and one a Mythic Morphine frame for his efforts, and then came back the next year and sessioned the sh*t out of the “Pump’R” (DH pump track) in the Shore park at Esher
its GREAT to see riders digging hard at Woburn again, that pump track looks sick and I am heading down there as soon as Esher closes on Sat 24th April (for a full day horse racing at Sandown Park) to bash the sh*t out of my Mythic Rampant
we spent alot of time digging Woburn 2002-2004 until the H&SE people got over zealous and shut down all the stunts
however, people DID get seriously hurt, and the land owners freaked out…
here’s some “old” Woburn mixed with some more recent Woburn images

cheers!
