Sam Dale put in a solid performance took 8th place today, beating many big names in the process. Ratty came in 5th and looked plenty strong enough in the last pedal section, bring on the next big track!

Danny Hart, the crowd went wild for him. The closest man to Gwin on the day with a time that makes Gwin look mortal.

Marc Beaumont, throwing a huge whip in the the Fort Bill landscape. You can still see the clouds lingering towards the top of the track.

Today wasn't Marc's day, bending his rear disc rotor meant that he could only use the front brake. Far from ideal on any world cup track let alone Fort William.

The men's podium, perhaps this sign should have been the other way round?

The fans make Fort William the best world cup of the year, apparently there were 30,000 pre-bought tickets and despite the weather a huge number still turned up!
