Elements of Perfection: Elevation
If you’re going to Whistler you definitely need to ride the Top Of The World track, it’s pretty epic, as you’ll see in this latest video in the Elements of Perfection series.
ELEVATION drops in at over 7000 feet, showcasing the Top of the World alpine trail on the Peak of Whistler Mountain.

For the first time ever, the Peak Chair on Whistler Mountain opened for mountain bikers this summer and made the dream of riding the alpine a reality. The Elements of Perfection team and riders went all out for the final video of the series and the result is as unique as the ride.

This ride is epic for scenery. The trail it’s self is flowy with nothing hard for those with solid intermediate skills. What you see in the video is what you get, minus the alpenglow (the descent takes so long that it would be well past dark if you rode the alpenglow) Now for my gripe: The forest section is flowy but resembles bline way too much. This section had such great potential to be a beautiful single track that made use of the natural terrain, instead it’s a double track with some berms and all the natural rock and roots removed. Given whistler’s great videos about the elements of perfection I expected at least some roots and natural features. After all those are often the elements that make each trail unique.
