Five Ten have just beamed over exclusive images of their new 2013 range of posh riding daps.
Big news looks like a new sole pattern from 5.10! You can just see on the Freerider Pro daps what looks like to be a more aggressive “knurled” looking sole tread pattern. Full details will be released around Eurobike time at the end of August.

Wonder if they’re finally taking advantage of being bought out by Adidas. These look quite flashy, I could definitely dig that but they need to look at updating the Impact, it still remains on the very ugly end of the spectrum…
yes, would be great if they had a new hightop like the impact with s1 rubber. I have the impacts but they are so ugly.
i don’t ride runways so i’ve accepted the fact that impacts are dogs but have yet to run into a more trusted & loyal dog. leave ‘em be.

just think of impacts like mx boots, they just necessary. anyways i think they somehow look better than skate shoes with moto pants anyway, they just look right
The new soles looks good as long as you don’t need to push back up the trail to get to the top.
Something waterproof would be nice.
Or at least something that doesn’t act like a sponge whenever it’s slightly damp.
Yeah waterproof would be awesome , even just a leather tongue would be good , mine are soaked from the 1st puddle I hit.
I wonder if they’ve removed the cardboard base under the insole yet? not good after several wet days.
hard toe box for rock protection and a laces cover to keep water out would be great!
