Hopton Woods Charity Downhill – Incorporating Midlands Championships.
“The aim for ‘season-ender’ event is to raise money for Jason Brennan and Air Ambulance.
Jason from Rave Racing has been a regular at our races for many years.
Unfortunately last year he suffered a broken back as a result of a crash at Caersws. We hope to help Jason purchase a Thera trainer which attaches to his wheelchair to help him exercise.
We’ve needed to call upon the services of the Air Ambulance in the past so will also be making a donation towards their operating costs.
The event is open to all riders. It will be the Midland Downhill Championships for riders who hold a British Cycling race licence from either the West Midland or East Midland regions.”

I won’t be able to get to this, but will make a donation to the Air Ambulance at the soonest possible point…
