We’ve just got word that next weekend there’s a music festival going on down in Cornwall called Leopallooza and as part of it there will be the UK’s only round of the FMB World Tour. The ‘Jack Gear Invitational’ will be taking place throughout the festival but the finals will be on the Sunday. If you want to go and watch it (and all the rest of the stuff going on at the festival) then you can either buy a three day ticket for £60, or pay £15 to just get in on the Sunday. We reckon it could make for a great weekend, and if you’re up for it you can get your tickets here.
Here are all the details along with a video of the track which has been custom built for the event…
Leopallooza is proud to announce it will be the venue for the only UK leg of the Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour!
We will be hosting the inaugural ‘Jack Gear Invitational’ FMB event over the festival weekend, on a custom built track set within the wooded grounds of Leopallooza.
Showcasing 40 of the best riders in the world, the Jack Gear Invitational is set to be the most exciting freestyle bike event in the UK. The track is built to test the limits of the sports most accomplished riders.
The FMB world tour visits countries including Sweden, Hungary, Spain, Canada, the Ukraine, Croatia & the USA. Now Bude has been added to the list.
With a £5000 prize fund and several award categories, the competition will take place across the weekend.
Here is the very scary track layout…
