thats a bloody good promo vid! not only does it make u wanna ride but it really abuses good angles and shows very well the front and rear working at speed. slow-mo in large doses huh!!!

Awesome vid, insane whips, and the bike looks sweet regardless of what people seem to think of Kona. But Dirt/MPORA, your new player really is pants: half the time if I go to watch a video I have to refresh three times or so to stop it being as jumpy as a Catholic nursery.

Well Jonty, its definitely a marketing video, but at no point have I seen hype or bullshit.
Judging by some of the Internet comments, we should just be amazed Joe can even get down that hill without riding a DW designed linkage or similar!

Does it make you wonder why some bikes get the reputations they do? Why do some people hate konas? Barel and Moseley have put the old stab on the podium plenty of times but an intense 951 has barely seen the top 10 at international level and everyone raves about them. Both good machines but very different public perceptions.

Doc Wat, i totally agree with u, i just think they’ve got a bad rep cause all the kids get kona’s thinking there gud and then can’t ride as gud as some1 like Joe on them so they think there no gud. Its the riders skills people. Epic vid as well. But i think its a bit weird that its a shimano saint sales vid and most of the shots are of the suspension from rockshox (sram). :S
It could boil down to the simple fact that the old Kona looked hideous whereas the Intense had the sex appeal of Pamela Anderson in her Baywatch years (that’s a lot for the kids out there). This new Kona, aesthetically at least, looks mint. Thank you Kona!

for anyone having problems viewing I’ve discovered that it doesn’t really work with firefox on a mac but it runs smoothly on Safari…
And IT tell me that the player doesn’t work too well on “old computers” if that is any help to anyone!
