Manon says: After the race season finished I wanted to go away for a while (somewhere a bit warmer than South Wales!) to ride my bike for no reason other than to have fun, before getting stuck into training again. I’d always wanted to go to Malaga so I contacted Salva from The Bike Shuttle, rented an apartment, invited some friends down and packed my van with as many bikes as possible!!

Although it wasn’t all dream-living with about two weeks of rain in the month I was there, boys to look after and plenty of rookie tourist mistakes (we had a window smashed in a rental car, Jacob Gibbins ended up sleeping in a Police Station after getting lost in Malaga on a drunken night out and I had my phone, keys and cards stolen on the last night!) I would definitely recommend a holiday out there to anyone.

Salva runs a DH shuttle holiday company and as a local he knows just about everywhere and everything to do with Malaga, so can take you to the best DH or moto enduro tracks, tapas bars, skateparks, beaches or dirt jumps and make a really cool video at the end if you like! There is also the BEST outdoor go-karting track I’ve ever been to if that’s your cuppa tea.

As you can see, when the sun comes out it’s an awesome place to be…

I think this video sums up all the fun parts of the trip pretty well, and leaves me with the same kind of feeling I had at the end of a good day in Malaga :-)
