Rachel Atherton scoops 50 points for the qualifying win, 1.6 seconds ahead of Emmeline Ragot in 2nd.

Manon Carpenter messed up the first section but recovered to take a great 5th spot.
Junior rider Tahnee Seagrave put a good run together for 10th.
Healing thoughts to Tracey Hannah who crashed heavily in this mornings practice and is reported to be in hospital.
Tracy Moseley looks like she has missed the qualifying cut after a mistake before split 2.

Men’s qualis still ongoing, but so far those results look immense! Tons of “outsiders” taking out the big guns!!!

Lots of expensive mistakes being made by the top riders in mens.. Blenky,Gwin,Hill,Stevey Smith and Mick Hannah all outside top 30! Come on Brycey in 2nd! (Cam Cole 1st)
Would be awesome to see Ragot’s luck turn & get the win on home soil.
Hopefully the UCI officials are more onto it here (unlike Wyndham)& the girls all get a fair race this time…
