Nick Beer is flying on the steep mountain course, just about one second of the fastest time today in 5th looks promising for finals.

After Fort William Aaron Gwin had yet another hard qualifier to handle. About one second faster than Cole on the second split he went down twice on the last part of the track ending up in 57th.

Cameron Cole was putting down the hammer today with the fastest time. In all the up´s and down´s of todays qualifying the 13 seemed to be a lucky number for him

Josh Bryceland had a clean and fast qualifier crossing the line just 0,096 seconds behind Cole in second.

The rough rocks were taking their toll today. Not only Sam Hill punctured during qualifying a whole bunch of top riders ended up with flat tire. Including Stevie Smith, Andrew Neethling, Sam Blenkinsop and Sam Dale.

While the first riders made it down still in the dry the clouds came in fast. Jared Graves making it´s way through hard rain by the end of the first big shower of todays qualifying chaos.

In the slippery conditions after the first course hold Bernard Kerr had a huge over the bars crash hitting the ground hard. Surprisingly he was up on his bike again in no time after that but missed the top 80 today.

The weather keept changing from rain to sunshine various times till the end of qualifying. So what conditions will we have on Sunday in the unpredictable French Alps?
