In the episode #02 Bernard rides, with local rider Davide, the beautiful Ragusa area on a wet day. He also manages to taste the best of Sicily ranging from fantastic panini all the way to getting himself lost in a Greek theatre, not to mention a visit to the Brodbeck contemporary art foundation.

About the MET “on a shoestring” video series
The ON A SHOESTRING video series certainly isn’t a travel guide, it is not about MTB racing either. It’s about people and culture. But primarily it’s about having fun riding some of the best spots in the world!
About Bernard Kerr
Bernard has been riding bikes for 10 years, loved it from the start and love it even more now! He got into biking because his cousin Joe came down to Surreyand showed him the way. He’s been national 4x champion, junior national DH champion and junior European DH champion since!

@bingo haha i know where you coming from, but he does a good job of keeping the cockyness levels down in this particular video, and he has a big smile while riding which really increases the fun factor.

maybe a little arrogant in some earlier edits but these two have been great. They’ve captured what a great rider he is with a effortless style not too far from Brendon Fairclough, must be something in the water down south:)

When riding a new trail, shouldn’t the local lead the way?
