STEVE PEAT WORLD CHAMPION: Seventeen Years in The Making

Steve Peat the book is out, this is going to be THE book of 2010, get it while it’s hot folks.

In this new book, Steve Peat gives an insight to his 2009 World Championship winning season.
Through a stunning collection of photographs, we follow Steve from his winter training at home in Sheffield, through eight rounds of the World Cup series, where he set new records for the most World Cup race wins and podium appearances. Then another win at the Lisbon Downtown, before finally culminating with his victory at 2009 World Champs in Canberra. This is an underdog story to top all others, and it has been seventeen years in the making.

    Mike.

  3. Gettin it!

  4. just ordered mine there, hope it has all the early days with rob warner breaking frames and trying to outdo each other.

  5. Chaz, i don’t think it has any retro stuff in there, it’s an “insight to his 2009 World Championship winning season”

  6. fantastic! This would be one book i’d look forward to reading ;)

  7. Just ordered my copy.
Hope its 1 of the 100 signed copies.

Doubt it…it was all over the web last night.

  10. Barney, I boy can dream can’t he?

  11. £30+shipping for a book, for that i’d expect some sweat to be chucked in there or something. on a seriouse not £30 for a book wtf has the world come to?

  12. damn, i wanted one of those books so badly. then i checked the price 44 bucks incl. int. shipping. i’m still not sure if this is an april joke.
if it would come with a tenpack stella i’d think about it..

  13. since when was steve an underdog?

  14. Charles, just cos your pictures aren’t published in this awesome book! How much would you pay for a single 6×4 high quality print shot by Victor Lucas or Sven Martin? In this book you’re getting 200 of em! This is a bit of history!

  15. Great rider. He truly is pretty ugly.

  16. Charles, you’d pay (you could pay if you wanted to) £30 for a Jamie Oliver “thrown it all in the oven, pucker mate” book. What would you rather have??

  17. for a 200 photo, full colour book, £35 is a good price. The harry potter books where nearly twenty, with crap quality, black and white printing and no pictures (also they were shite). Stop being tight!

  18. 35 notes for a memento like this, of an incredible season, with quality photography? Seems fine, I’ve ordered one and I can’t wait to see it.

Charles needs to pop down to the local book shop and see what sport art books can cost… https://www.krakenopus.com/store/product.php?id=9

    Yikes.

  19. can u not buy it in shops??

  20. Only £30 + shipping? What a bargain, I’ll have ten.
