Ye i would like one as well . Been a subscriber for years now but don’t get freeies anymore because i now pay direct debit . Not exactly fare for us that pay for years and people that only subscibe yearly get free t shirts and the likes every year . Come on dirt sort it out.

Those Bender Fenders are one of my highest rated products. So simple and cheap but so effective! They look pretty cool with the Dirt logo on too, if I hadn’t just re-subscribed again this would definitely have made me.
And guys, your subscription pays for the mag itself (which you get at discounted rates for subscribing). The freebies are meant to encourage new subscribers. It’s not a special offer if everyone gets it!
how can you (well maybe not you but the peeps who do the subs) justify charging an extra £3.49 for paying by credit card? thats more than 10% of the total purchase price whacked on as an extra.

Looking at the pile of Dirt magazines I have (all from issue 51 with no issues missed!!) I have only received one T-shirt from renewing my annual subscription, that’s like from 2005!!
Also since issue 124(I think) the magazine is 10% smaller yet we are charged the same.. (joke)
In all seriousness though, most of the information, reviews and illustrations from the last couple of years are posted on this very website and often (with some alteration) posted on other online sites.
I honestly subscribe out of loyalty and once in a while as I am paying homage to the porcelain princess I enjoy looking over past issues, but times are changing and the paper illustrations are not as valued as they once were, we now have iPads and free access to such sites the likes of “bluecycle” or what’s it called… “purplewheels?”…. You know the site I mean…
So yeah! Machete, Steve, Mark and myself demand some love and loyalty in return! It’s people like us that pay for your office t-bags!
Got an idea and a proposal: The first person that gives me a subscription as a present, will receive my Limited Edition Dirt Fender in return
Cancelling your subscription, then starting a new one seems to be the only way to get the free gifts each year. I suppose they don’t have enough gifts to give out to all the subscribers everytime, but a cheeky freebie here and there would keep us sweet!

Guys really sorry about this, but this is for new subscribers only. It is the same the world over, every mag works like this. And I should point out that there are only 100 of these Dirt logo’d fenders available. They might have already gone by now! We do really appreciate your continued loyalty, we couldn’t survive without it.

Since when is being like everybody else the best commercial choice? As much as every mag needs new growth to sustain its business it also ‘trades’ to a large degree, on the loyalty of its regular readers, including those who subscribe. And yet it seems that the business model is one where loyalty is essentially devalued, as the best deals are offered to the new customer and not the existing one.
My reasons for subscribing aren’t predicated on freebies [although clearly if you wanna send me a lovely fender anyhow ...] but I guess this is just a plea for a bit more imagination, hell, even a bit of mould breaking, eh?
Just cancelled my subscription for the same reasons, and I never get my issue before its in the shops, usually a week later ! I might buy it from the shop from now on, if I can be arsed !
Try moving to Australia. I get each mag 1 week after the next one has been issued.

Not the issue of Dirt but it is a pain. I think a iFad subscription may be the way forward.
Got to side with Dirt on this one folks. Introductory offers is business 101 to lure new consumers. I don’t get automatically get less off my bills every quarter when companies bring out new offers and I wouldn’t expect Dirt to be giving away freebies of this magnitude toa ll its subscribers. Maybe they can consider giving one out to people who have had a 5 year subscription, as a raffle or a loyalty reward as an model to promote their most loyal readers out there. I wouldn’t be in consideration, but it would be an awesome thing to do. Not sure of the cost per item but with it being “Dirt” branded I would think it could be a “bragging” item on the dedicated readers bikes. Thanks Dirt for all the content none the less.

Well..DDuurrhh !. The best way is clearly to subscribe and then cancel and re-subscribe to get the freebies, loyalty means nothing these days I’m afraid !. Its a bit worrying also to read that there are only 100 of the fenders, are there any left now ?. I was gonna subscribe but now not so sure, as it wouldnt be the first time that the freebies dont arrive or that they are sold out (Dirt dont mention that supplies are limited).
Whoops..I must add that the latest issue of Dirt does say that only 100 fenders are available but Ive only just got my hands on it from WHsmiths. I’m assuming my subs has just run out, I can never keep track !
