Trek Session 9.9 Carbon Spy Shots
Looks like the internet rumours are true. Aaron Gwin is onboard the new Trek 9.9 carbon DH bike for first practice at the Mont Sainte Anne World Cup.
We’ll try and find out as much as we can but the shutters are down at the TWR pits and information is scarce.

why go back to that sort of inchage? the session 88 has been so popular.
i am right in assuming the 9.9 means travel?

Perhaps it’s the next logical name after ’88′, the only problem being that the ’99′ would have looked like a Trek but sounded like an ice cream, hence the ‘.’

I’m guessing the name has simply come about cos Trek call all their top end carbon bikes ’9.9′, i.e. Remedy 9.9

Hi all,
The 9.9 is not a reference to travel. That’s how we designate bikes at the top of the model range. Same as Remedy 9.9, EX 9.9, Top Fuel 9.9…
