Trek World Racing Crankworx 2012
Justin Leov and Neko Mullaly take on Crankworx and talk candidly about injuries.
On the eve of the World Downhill Championships weekend, we have a new video from Crankworx in Whistler where Justin Leov and Neko Mulally competed in the longest top level DH race on the circuit, the Garbanzo. Justin imparts his race winning knowledge to our youngest team member Neko. Then the 2nd half of the video shows how the guys cope with that occupational hazard, injury. Just 2 weeks from Worlds, the lengths the guys go to in order to minimize their injury’s impact is impressive.
I was surprised that Aaron Gwin wasn’t at Crankworks, coaching at Mammoth instead.
Actually Aaron was busy at Trek World (their major annual dealer show) in Wisconsin for most of Crankworx, as unfortunately those two events clash nearly every year..so the team split duties among the riders.
