Where The Trail Ends brings you to the most remote locations on the planet in a mountain bike expedition unlike any other ever undertaken.
The film follows the world’s top freeride mountain bikers – including the likes of Darren Berrecloth, Cameron Zink, Kurtis Sorge, James Doerfling and Andreu Lacondeguy – as they search for unridden terrain around the globe in the hope of shaping the future of big mountain freeriding.
This films documents man’s challenge of Mother Nature and himself showcased through a cast of colorful characters. This is the most progressive and ambitious mountain biking ever attempted resulting in an entertainment adventure unlike anything experienced before.

No offense but I actually got a bit bored watching this. Normally I watch a bike movie and instantly wanna go ride afterwards. This just doesn’t get my motor running. Strength in numbers is still my favourite, you get a bit of everyting, not just riding down ski slopes of big Hills in China…
i agree. the heli scree slope shots blurred china to south america. the riding and the zones got stuck in a slow long edit. it got hyped up but just seemed like a snowboard formula with bikes. the trailer was great though.
I really enjoyed it. It had an excellent narrative, great sense of adventure and epic riding captured beautifully in amazing scenery. There is no way i could get bored of that. Were we watching the same film chris? Each to their own.
Gotta agree with Chris. I’ve watched
Loads of mtb movies through the years but this didn’t do it. It’s no earthed that’s for sure
this is epic! the first all mountain free riding film ive seen not a nail in sight. worth the wait
Got to admit, I loved the film for the exact reason that it didn’t feature any bikeparks! I am sick of seeing whistler in movies. Yes its great to ride but it has been done to death.
But then I wasn’t impressed by strength in numbers at all, so I guess that just goes to show the variation in peoples tastes!
I thought this was amazing. I love watching the world cup, love Rampage and love all the Anthill films. They are all showing the sport we love from completely different angles and they are all great!
not my bag very epic tho im sure
Gnar.. Shredded.. For free?? Sweet!
p.s. Saw Margera on the red carpet, man he looked FRIED!
Pretty sick yawl!
full respect to the riders and what they do that was the amazing part. but in my view the film makers need to take some lessons from anthill and travis rice & co. for me it was only the last sections of the film that got good. clad i have seen it and haven’t had to pay for it.
kinda cool, but as said above, riding down big steep ski slopes in a straight line with your back wheel locked up gets a bit boring
I loved the film, great to see mountain bikes in places mountaineers have only really been before. Also the helmet cam sections were ace!!
@SamC – Take some lessons from Anthill? Those guys massacre music files and include interview grabs from riders and just plonk it in with no context. Some of the one liners they drop in from Gee’s interviews are just god awful. Anthill make good movies, but not great movies. Some good filming but poor editing and production. Not worth aspiring to a 7/10.
I was also a bit disappointed and ended up skipping through some of the bits. It felt like once you saw one section the rest was much the same and the narrative was a bit weak. In my view the Collective Seasons is the best bike movie made and actuall had a more cohesive narrativ. I would also say lifecycles had a more cohesive narrative and was visually more enjoyable
Watch it on the big screen in a crowded theater in Laguna. You’re opinion will change
