2010 BDS Races
December 17th, 2009 @ 2:59 PM
As you probably know by now, the UK NPS (National Points) series is no more, and has been re-named and re-branded for 2010 to the BDS (British Downhill Series).
Races are as follows…
Rd 1: 10-11th April – Rheola
Rd2: 8-9th May – Fort William
Rd3: 26-27th June – Llangollen
Rd4: 7-8th August – Moelfre
Rd5: 25-26th September – Caersws
The first 3 races are UCI Cat 2 races.
Food will be provided by Cooks Bistro, meaning as well as the usual Breakfast Sandwich, Sub Rolls, Burgers, Hotdogs and Kebabs Cooks Bistro will be keeping the energy levels up with Fresh from the Oven Jacket Potatoes, Hot Pasta and Soups, Fresh from the Oven Pies, Chicken Tikka, Grilled Halloumi or Crispy Beef Salads.
We’ll be attending every race in some capacity, with reports going up here on dirt.mpora.com
The series are also teaming up with Action Cameras to provide both a helmet cam of the track, and a track walk video of each race.
It looks like 2010 is going to be a great year, bring on the BDS!

really liking the sound of it and i’m not even racing. Maybe with the track walk, helmet cam and reports from dirt it’ll make up for the fewer world cups.
Awesome. please get behind it dirt. If the coverage is even a tiny bit as good as your world leading world cup news i’ll be happy.

What happened to the NPS that this change has come about? And what about xc and other disiplines, how are they affected?
