Red Bull Atherton Project: Episode 12

With the World Cup season all wrapped up, the Atherton clan head to Brazil where they hit up the Desafio no Morro downtown race in the slums of Rio. Returning home to hit up their local trails and tracks, the Athertons go out with a bang with an epic quarry session.

Superb series. Best till last me thinks. Felt part of the team with Mr Porters magic vids. Looking forward to seein Rach back on form next year & the whole Family/team back together. Just finished watchin the Sapranos full box set last nite & now this series has finished looks like it’s back to eastenders….now where’s ma slippers!!!

Slippers Martidog?!!! Surely where’s my spade/lights/wet weather riding gear?! It may be winter but rididng doesn’t stop. Watching this series just makes me want to ride more, or if it’s too wet then I’m out creating new stuff to ride when it’s dry again.
As punishment you have to do 50km of solo road riding to burn off the shame of addmitting you’d rather be watching Eastcoronationfarmoaks (or whatever it is) then riding

It does make me wonder if that Red Bull event in Rio does anything for poverty in the area apart from giving them a day of excitement?

Another crackin good episode. Loved this one because it just seemed so much more chilled than the race season. Well done to the Atherton team n Clay porter.

Haha nice one Morgan look relax my winter training diary is full don’t worry the BMX track is gona get a serious pounding this winter.
