The POC back protector caught our attention when we visited their factory back last year, with more and more riders looking for alternative and lighter alternatives to protection than the full armour suits worn a few years ago, it is products like the POC vest which really stand out. It has a simple design which can be integrated into a vest top or worn with a waistband and POC have developed their protector to be more effective at dissipating shocks and lower impact forces which are generally transferred straight to the body by the usual plastic spine protectors on the market.

  2. It would be good to see more spine protectors that are compatible with neck braces, the only one I can find in a vest is the 661 core saver but event he s/m is way too large for me. Might have to try the junior size!

  3. o’neal are making some good armour that are neck brace compatible.
